“The influence of the client’s personality on the interior.” Sergey’s Lecture at the Best Interior Festival 2018
On November 1, the first All-Russian Festival of Architecture and Design “BIF” opened on the territory of the Trekhgornaya Manufactory, demonstrating current trends, styles and techniques in the field of interior design, as well as presenting project and realized works of professionals.
On Saturday, November 3, in the main lecture hall in the territory of the Trihgornaya Manufactory factory as part of the Best Interior Festival 2018, Sergey Estrin gave a lecture on “The Influence of the Client’s Personality on the Interior”.
Sergey spoke about how the client’s personality influences the design and implementation of the interior design at every stage. On the example of implemented projects, students could trace the evolution of the idea from the first sketches and first meetings with the customer to the delivery of the finished office, restaurant or private house interior. Sergey spoke about the projects implemented and illustrated his stories not only with photographs of various styles of interiors for various purposes, but also with his drawings. We saw curious and recognizable types of our favorite customers.
The Best Interior Festival festival emerged as a logical continuation of the All-Russian architectural review competition “National Award“ Best Interior ”, which was established by the Union of Architects of Russia in 2017.
Since 2018, the Best Interior contest has changed its format and has become a full-fledged festival with a rich program that includes workshops, round tables, presentations of modern materials and technologies, as well as lectures by leading Russian architects and designers.
