A3 Gallery is better known for non-conformist artists. It will be its first experience in demonstrating graphic arts of famous Moscow architect Sergey Estrin.
Already at the second stair case one sees not an accurate drawing in a smart frame, but a shred of graffiti on a stripped plaster with figures amongst disappearing columns. Then it appears that all three rooms were treated the same way with paint ripped off some walls showing real shell of old building – stone, bricks or old plaster. Each of these exposed grounds Estrin has covered with similar carvings, sometimes laboriously careful, sometimes in sweeping motions.
