Office complex of Aeroflot Russian Airlines company – is one of the most creative buildings in Moscow.
The building itself resembles aircraft wings. One “wing” opens view to Sheremetievo Airport, from the other one can see airplanes taking off. Full glazing makes this imposing building soaring above the ground. As Aeroflot is a government institution, it was suggested to make three VIP floors in national flag colours; using rich blue colour for the main office space. Reflective surfaces dominate in interior fit out; there are a lot of colour glass and patterned panels. “The intention was to add to VIP premises more power, personality and expression typical for the airlines”, – says Sergey Estrin.
