MODIS | The project takes part in Best Office Awards 2016

MODIS is one of the largest Russian companies, that designs and produces affordable and fashionable clothing. The office is located in the «Wall Street» business center, situated near the Garden Ring Road (Sadovoe Koltso) in Moscow.
This office if for designers to discuss new collections and sometimes even to create mini fashion shows. This is also a place for meetings with suppliers and for important decision making.
The architects challenge was not limited to regular creation of work places for designers, employees and management – members of the team involved with company activities and successful development. The architects had to organize the entire working process, to rethink the concept of the space, to come up with a unifying idea.
The concept was developed in accordance with company’s spirit – all solutions are light, graphic, not expensive, functional and with a bit of humor.
The color palette is saturated, including bright fuchsia color; the expressive silhouettes, jokingly illustrate the life on the runway. Endless model-legs (silhuettes) are taking a walk through the entire interior.
The reception area resembles the runway illuminated by powerful spotlights. Metal strips, fixed to the ceiling look like mirrors. In the ladies bathroom there are several half-naked men, peeping from the huge posters, silhouettes of female models are “strolling” along the corridors.
The impressive radiant ceiling was created to illuminate the space.
