I have been following the development of the award with great interest. And I can say that each year the number of talented projects increases.
I would like to see projects that represent a new direction in design. Not just copying or imitating projects published in foreign magazines. I would like to see new ideas. I want to see in the profession new people with innovative thinking and approach.
The projects must certainly be professional; it should not be some kind of hysterical mess of new ideas. These must be works in which it is clear that they were designed by a specialist for a real customer who will have to live or work in the space created for them. That is, not just self-expression for the sake of self-expression, but interesting ideas with interesting forms, told by a competent architectural language.
